UAS Test Pilot – Defense Tech – California

Darwin Defense has been retained by a defense technology company developing next-generation unmanned systems for military and government customers. This is a high-growth business with a differentiated product and genuine momentum in the market.

The Role: We’re looking for an experienced UAS Test Pilot to join a lean, technically rigorous flight operations team. You’ll be at the heart of the test program – evaluating fixed-wing unmanned platforms across a range of mission profiles, building out flight test procedures, and conducting functional check flights on production aircraft.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Engineering, Robotics, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience operating fixed-wing or small UAS platforms, with a focus on autonomous systems
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
• US Citizenship required (ITAR environment)
• Comfortable working closely with engineering teams on performance and reliability feedback
