Job Opportunity: Technical Account Manager - Switzerland

Are you a seasoned technical expert in Audio Visual Integration & Design, residing in Switzerland? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! This dynamic role involves regular travel and offers a range of responsibilities and rewards.

Required Skills:

· Profound technical expertise in the AV industry.

· 5 to 10 years of experience in Audio Visual integration and design.

· Preferably, a Bachelor's degree in Electronics.

Main Responsibilities:

· Cultivate and manage relationships with a minimum of 75% of all consultants and technical managers.

· Introduce our new products, highlighting their integration advantages.

· Engage in discussions regarding desired product features or modifications.

· Conduct research within specific product groups as requested by the product marketing team.

· Proactively communicate project updates to managers.

· Provide support to consultants and dealers in project/tender requests.

· Offer on-site troubleshooting assistance at the behest of our Application Engineers and Technical Services Director.

Secondary Responsibilities:

· Deliver technical training on-site upon request from sales management.

· Participate in dealer shows, trade shows, Extron Institute events, and more.

· Intervene in troubleshooting, RMA, and driver call logs when more than 10 entries exist without a clear solution.

· Review translations of our technical documentation as needed.

Personal Responsibilities:

· Execute all tasks expected of a 'Senior Applications Engineer' at an advanced level.

· Maintain current Instructor certification in all related company Institute course materials.

· Sustain certification in all product, test equipment, and technology areas (Technical Qualification Sheet).

Reporting Responsibilities:

· Provide monthly reports on visits to Consultants, Technical Managers, and Internal Consultants.

· Submit travel reports for each visit.

· Report on-site troubleshooting results and consultant projects to the Technical Services Director, Application Engineers, and relevant Account Managers.

· Share a time schedule for pre-sales, post-sales, and marketing activities.
