Position Title: Solar PV Engineer

Location: Munich

Job Type: Full-time

Reports to: Solar PV Project Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Solar PV Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems. The candidate should also have a strong safety focus and be able to work at heights. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site assessments and design solar PV systems according to customer requirements
• Install, commission, and maintain solar PV systems, including wiring, mounting, and connection of inverters and other electrical components
• Conduct performance tests and troubleshoot issues related to solar PV systems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Maintain accurate records and document all work performed
• Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and other team members
• Continuously learn and stay up to date with industry developments and advancements in solar PV technology

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in solar PV installation and maintenance is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems
• Knowledge of electrical principles and practices related to solar PV systems
• Familiarity with relevant safety codes and regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
