Cloud Solution Architect (Medior)

Purpose of the role

We are looking for a person who will differentiate our company from its competitors through technological development specifically using information and data as an asset. You will be joining our client, a company in full transition to a new era of payments, covering both hardware, software, and services as tooling for merchants to grow their business. A company, that over the past 7 years has shown, a remarkable and constant appetite for market share.

The primary goal of the Cloud Solution Architect Architect is to shape and drive the evolution of current and future technology capabilities. This will be achieved by leading the enterprise architecture within the Information domain. The Cloud Solution Architect will strongly interact with the Global and Local Architecture & Strategy teams to define, develop and deliver the overall technology strategy, target states, and associated roadmaps.

Deliverables / Tasks

• You look from the outside in, identify trends and relevant developments, and use them to develop a vision of architecture
• You represent the organization as a thought leader at roundtables, conferences, and training sessions
• You provide training and inspiration sessions for (management) teams inside and outside the organization
• You guide and support (agile) teams, whereby soft skills are also highly valued
• You are ultimately responsible for the technical elements of contracting & vendor selection, partnerships, and mergers & acquisitions
• A master’s degree and a maximum of 10 years of experience in a relevant job
• Knowledge of and experience in the field of financial digital services and transformations
• Experience as a lead engineer (data or software engineer) and as an architect on complex programs and projects with a heavy IT component
• A passion for technology, engineering, and digital retail banking
• Knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman, BPMN, DYA, and Archimate would be considered a big plus;
• AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud;
