Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Blade D Technician to join our wind energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced inspection, maintenance, and repair of wind turbine blades, with a strong emphasis on structural integrity and composite repair techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out advanced blade repairs in line with OEM standards and project specifications
Perform inspections, damage assessments, and detailed reporting on wind turbine blades
Execute structural repairs, including laminate replacement, bonding, and finishing
Work at height and in confined spaces in compliance with safety regulations
Ensure all work is completed to a high quality and within project timelines
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
Adhere to all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and procedures
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and site management

Mandatory certifications:

Siemens Blade D Certification
Siemens Advanced Blade Repair Certification
Valid GWO (Global Wind Organization) certifications (Working at Heights, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness) preferred

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in wind turbine blade inspection and repair
Strong knowledge of composite materials and repair techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Physically fit and comfortable working at height
Strong communication and teamwork skills
