Role Overview:

As a Hardware & Software Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and functionality of products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests that validate and verify the behaviour of both hardware and software components. This role will require a strong focus on Python testing, and you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to answer critical questions such as:

• "Do the actuators behave as expected?"
• "Does the pump operate in accordance with the established processes?"

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to assess the performance and functionality of hardware and software components.
• Utilize Python testing frameworks and automation tools to streamline the testing process.
• Collaborate with hardware and software development teams to identify, report, and track defects.
• Perform validation and verification activities to ensure that products meet specified requirements.
• Conduct acceptance tests to validate that products meet customer expectations.
• Assess and document test results, providing clear and concise reports to inform decision-making.
• Investigate issues, troubleshoot problems, and work towards effective resolutions.
• Maintain and improve test environments, tools, and methodologies.
• Leverage your HW/SW (Embedded) knowledge to bridge the gap between hardware and software testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in acceptance tests, automated testing, and validation/verification processes.
• Strong proficiency in Python testing and test automation.
• Familiarity with hardware testing, including actuators, sensors, and control systems.
• A solid understanding of embedded systems and software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
