About the Role

We are seeking a driven and technically adept Pre-Sales Engineer to support our enterprise and government customers as they explore cutting-edge secure communications and networking solutions. This role sits at the intersection of technology and business, helping bridge complex technical capabilities with real-world use cases in data protection, secure key exchange, and quantum-safe infrastructure.

You will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to educate prospects, develop tailored solutions, deliver compelling demonstrations, and support proof-of-concept engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical advisor to prospects and customers during the pre-sales lifecycle
  • Collaborate with account executives to understand customer needs and translate them into tailored technical solutions
  • Deliver in-depth product demos, technical presentations, and architecture whiteboarding sessions
  • Lead and support proof-of-concept (PoC) and pilot deployments, including installation guidance and configuration
  • Respond to RFI/RFPs with accurate, compelling technical input
  • Act as a liaison between customer technical teams and internal product/engineering groups to relay feedback and drive feature adoption
  • Stay current with industry trends related to quantum-safe cryptography, secure key distribution, and secure networking
  • Support conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings as a technical expert

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-7 years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role
  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, cryptographic protocols, or secure communications
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience supporting enterprise or government accounts in a high-trust, compliance-focused environment
  • Hands-on experience with networking equipment, PKI infrastructure, or data protection technologies
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a startup or emerging technology environment

Desirable Experience

  • Familiarity with quantum-safe cryptography, quantum key distribution (QKD), or post-quantum cryptographic standards
  • Background in telecommunications, defense, or critical infrastructure sectors
  • Experience working with channel partners or system integrators
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, etc.)
