BMS Technician – 12 Month Contract – Malta
We are looking for a BMS/BAS Technician to actively participate in projects from inception to completion. The role involves installing, programming, and troubleshooting BMS hardware and software, performing on-site and remote commissioning and testing, conducting preventive maintenance, designing and assembling control panels, and integrating BMS/REMS with IT networks using standard protocols such as BACnet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP.

  • Start: ASAP
Requirements:
  • 3 years minimum experience working as a BMS Technician
  • Higher Diploma (MQF level 5) in Industrial Automation, Electronics, Controls or equivalent.
  • Availability to work onsite and/or remotely in Malta
  • BACnet, Modbus and DALI background
  • European Citizenship
Responsibilities
  • Commission, test, and troubleshoot BAS/BMS systems, ensuring proper operation and compliance with project specifications.
  • Work hands-on with Tridium, Trend, Honeywell, Schneider, or similar platforms, including system integration, point-to-point verification, and control panel assembly.
  • Integrate BAS systems using protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and DALI.
  • Work independently on-site to ensure systems are fully installed, configured, and operational.
  • Maintain documentation and support project handovers and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Use MS Office and other project-related software, interpret electrical schematics, and provide clear written and verbal communication.
  • Hold a valid driving licence, be available for travel to project sites, and provide on-call/out-of-hours support as required.
