We’re seeking a seasoned financial analyst to join our Internal Cost and Service Accounting team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your Mission:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll be the linchpin of our cost and performance accounting, ensuring seamless value flow mapping and providing expert support in asset accounting and invoicing. You’ll be the guardian of our CO master data, ensuring its integrity within our processes and systems, particularly SAP. You’ll also be a strategic partner, providing comprehensive financial advice to business partners and collaborating closely with operational controlling teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Value Flow Mapping: Expertly map cost and performance accounting value flows for diverse internal business processes.
• Master Data Management: Maintain CO master data (cost centers, WBS elements, internal billing, etc.) ensuring accuracy and consistency within SAP and related systems.
• Financial Advisory: Provide expert financial guidance to business partners, acting as a trusted advisor at the interface of finance and management.
• Process Optimization & Digitalization: Actively participate in the development and optimization of processes, driving digitalization and automation initiatives.
• Project Leadership: Lead or support projects/transformation projects, including the migration to S/4HANA, contributing your management accounting expertise.
• SAP Expertise: Utilize your in depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO, MDG-F) to manage and improve financial processes.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work seamlessly within interdisciplinary teams, acting as a solution-oriented sparring partner and enabler.

Flexibility & Collaboration:

We offer location-independent work and home office flexibility. However, we value team collaboration and connection. Therefore, we have a designated team day every Thursday at our headquarters in Bern, where your presence is highly desired.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education: A higher-level business education with a focus on finance and controlling (Bachelor/Master or expert in accounting & controlling).
• Experience: Several years of proven experience in cost and performance accounting and value flow mapping.
• Analytical Skills: A strong aptitude for complex analyses and a systematic, solution-oriented approach.
• Teamwork & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams, and adept at acting as a sparring partner and enabler.
• SAP Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly in FI/CO and MDG-F, and a strong IT affinity (M365, especially Excel).
• Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in German (oral and written), and good oral knowledge of another national language and English.
• Digital Mindset: Curiosity and a strong drive to push digitalization and automation.
