Responsibilities:

• Design and implement IT systems that support the enterprise infrastructure, focusing on BMS (Building Management System) and Security within a data centre environment.
• Collaborate with IT Construction and effectively communicate requirements to team members to ensure early incorporation of designs and standards.
• Provide guidance to IT professionals, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards during system design and implementation.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT system design and implementation.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of systems.
• Design redundant cable paths and conduits during the early design stage.
• Provide technical support for IT issues as required.
• Participate in the development of security policies and procedures.
• Engage actively with construction teams to address IT network infrastructure design, answer queries, and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT design within a data centre environment.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and experience working in a data centre environment.
• Knowledge of data centre infrastructure management systems, including monitoring, measurement, management, and control tools (desirable).
• Proficiency in working within a 3D model environment.
• Experience with Bluebeam or similar software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
