Fleet Performance Analyst

We are a world leader in crude tanker operations, seeks a talented Fleet Performance Analyst to join their team in Antwerp, Belgium. In this role, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our fleet operates at peak efficiency, minimizing costs and environmental impact.

Your Responsibilities:

• Fuel Efficiency Champion: Guide operational decisions that minimize fuel consumption and emissions, maximizing voyage profitability. Collaborate with onboard crews to optimize voyage plans and operational efficiency.
• Data-Driven Insights: Develop and maintain accurate vessel performance models. Analyse voyage data to identify trends in fuel consumption, speed, propulsion efficiency, and hull condition.
• Communication & Collaboration: Lead stakeholder meetings to plan and follow up on maintenance actions like hull cleaning and inspections. Prepare clear reports on fleet consumption and performance, ensuring stakeholders have the information they need.
• Innovation Catalyst: Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing daily vessel operations, improving energy efficiency, and reducing emissions. Work with the Fleet Performance Team to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For:

• A university degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools like Python, MatLab, R, or SQL.
• Excellent written and spoken English with knowledge of maritime terminology.
• A collaborative and results-oriented team player with a “can-do” attitude.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (both spoken and written) is a must; additional languages are a plus.
