We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural & HVDC Engineer to join our leading offshore marine company. As a Structural & HVDC Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient design, installation, and maintenance of off-shore structures and high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems. Your expertise will be essential in driving the success of our offshore projects and contributing to our company's reputation as an industry leader.


  1. Structural Design and Analysis:

    • Develop innovative and cost-effective structural designs for offshore platforms, subsea installations, and other marine structures.
    • Conduct structural analysis and simulations to assess structural integrity, stability, and load-bearing capacity.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  2. HVDC System Design and Integration:

    • Design and integrate HVDC systems for offshore applications, including converter stations, subsea cables, and control systems.
    • Collaborate with electrical engineers and stakeholders to optimize system performance, efficiency, and reliability.
    • Perform calculations and simulations to analyze power flow, voltage drop, and insulation coordination.
  3. Project Management:

    • Participate in project planning and feasibility studies for offshore marine projects.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  4. Technical Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and documentation for engineering designs, analyses, and evaluations.
    • Maintain accurate records of engineering activities, test results, and project milestones.
    • Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  5. Research and Innovation:

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to offshore structures and HVDC systems.
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the company's offshore engineering processes.
    • Collaborate with research and development teams to explore and implement new technologies and methodologies.


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in structural design and analysis for offshore structures.
  • Strong knowledge of HVDC systems, including converter stations, subsea cables, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in using structural analysis software, such as ANSYS, SAP2000, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes, such as API, ISO, and IEC.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Prior experience in the offshore marine industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication in English
