System Engineer – On Premises

The position is a full-time position at my clients Oslo office working closely withing the Infrastructure Engineering team. The team builds and maintains IT systems running in our data centre services . This includes setup and operation of physical server infrastructure, virtualisation environments, storage clusters, container runtime environments and more.

Duties of the role -

1. Monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure
2. Establish, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
3. Evaluate the existing systems and provide the technical direction to the management
4. Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency

Qualifications -

1. Experience in Linux system administration
2. Experience with Ansible
3. Strong technical background in building redundant and robust solutions
4. Working experience with virtualisation solutions like VMWare
5. Norweigan speaking ( Fluent )
6. Living in Norway

Bonefits for them -
