We are currently seeking a Bridge Inspector / Team Leader to join our Transportation Design Group, supporting our Bridge Inspection Department. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their career while contributing to critical public infrastructure projects.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform bridge inspections for state and local transportation agencies.

• Utilize web-based software to update asset information and generate detailed inspection reports.

• Assist inspection teams with equipment setup, data collection, and field documentation.

• Support Project Management or Task Leadership activities, depending on experience.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site-specific procedures.

• Participate in training programs and stay current with relevant standards and practices.

• Occasionally work weekends on field assignments as needed.

• Carry inspection equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.

• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment to deliver accurate and high-quality work.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field experience in bridge inspection.

• Bridge Safety Inspection Certification (state-level equivalent) required.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with bridge inspection software (e.g., iFORMS, National Bridge Elements, or BMS2 coding).

• Experience on state DOT or Turnpike Commission projects is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive work ethic.

• Ability to process field documentation, chart data, and assist with report preparation efficiently.
