Maritime Logistics Specialist – DefenseTech – USA (South California)

Darwin has partnered with a fast-growing tech start-up that is revolutionizing marine navigation with data-driven intelligence, autonomy and connectivity. Currently expanding by developing autonomous surface vessels and control technology to provide National Security and defend critical assets such as oil rigs and shipping terminals.

Role:

We are looking for a combined logistics & maritime technician also involved in vessel operations & maintenance, and logistics & coordination.

Experience of Interest:

• Safely pilot single-outboard boats (up to 30 ft) for deployments, test missions, and routine transport
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical and electrical issues
• Oversee fuelling, docking, anchoring, and vessel cleaning
• Plan and execute transportation of equipment, including hauling trailers, towing vessels, and arranging freight/shipping
• Coordinate with marinas, customs, freight carriers, and service vendors
• Track inventory of spare parts, safety gear, and operational supplies

Can pay between $60K- $110K, based on experience
