Senior HSE Supervisor / Coordinator – Spain (HVAC Rollout Project)

• Client: Large Retail Company
• Location: Spain – multiple cities nationwide Project
• Home Office: 50% Home Office / 50% visiting client sites
• Type of work: MEP Installation & Commissioning (Retail Stores)
• Project Duration: Long-term rollout (5+ years) Stores: Approx. 20-25 stores per year

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor / Coordinator to support a long-term BMS/HVAC rollout project for a retail client across Spain. This role will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with local HSE regulations during installation and commissioning works in existing retail environments.

You will work closely with installers, the Project Manager, and the clients appointed HSE representative to maintain a safe and compliant working environment across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Register projects with the relevant HSE authorities
• Open and manage work centers in compliance with Spanish regulations
• Create, update, and maintain all required HSE documentation
• Upload and manage HSE documentation on required platforms
• Coordinate and collaborate with installers, the Project Manager, and clients HSE team
• Attend site during high-risk activities (e.g. work at height) to ensure safe execution
• Monitor compliance and support continuous improvement of HSE standards across sites

Requirements

• Proven experience in an HSE Supervisor or Coordinator role
• Strong knowledge of Spanish HSE legislation and site safety requirements
• Experience working on MEP installation or construction projects
• Ability to manage multiple sites across different locations
• Comfortable working on a long-term, multi-site rollout project
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Languages

• Spanish: Fluent
• English: Professional working proficiency
