UI Engineer – Typescript, Angular

Our client is one of the largest providers of personal loans in the US. We are looking for several skilled UI Engineers with extensive experience in TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and AWS. As a UI Engineer, you will play a critical role in redesign and rebuild of their largest and most import platforms that serves as the lynchpin of their business.

Your role will include developing and enhancing the user interfaces of this mission-critical platform. Your expertise will contribute to creating visually appealing, responsive, and high-performance web applications that provide exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• UI Development: Collaborate with the design and development teams to translate wireframes and design mockups into responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular.
• Front-End Development: Create and maintain modular, reusable UI components and libraries to ensure a consistent and efficient user interface across various applications.
• TypeScript Mastery: Develop and maintain front-end codebase in TypeScript, ensuring clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Integration with Node.js: Integrate the front-end with server-side components built using Node.js, enhancing the overall application's performance and functionality.
• AWS Integration: Leverage AWS services to optimize application deployment, scalability, and maintainability. Manage AWS resources, configure serverless architecture, and ensure data security.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring fast load times and responsiveness of web applications.
• Code Quality and Testing: Implement best practices for code quality, conduct unit testing, and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality codebase.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers, designers, and product managers, to align development efforts with project requirements.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a UI Engineer, Front-End Developer, or similar role with deep expertise in TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build responsive web applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with modern front-end frameworks, particularly Angular.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, architecture, and best practices in front-end development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Portfolio of previous UI development projects is a plus.

For this role, you need to live within two hours of the following locations - Baltimore (MD), Wilmington (DE), Charlotte (NC), Forth Worth (TX), or Evansville (IN)
