Automation Engineer – Contract – Denmark

Location: Denmark (onsite)
Availability: Full-time
Contract Duration: 12 months

Our client is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in ABB 800xA and GMP-regulated environments to support automation projects in Denmark. This role requires strong knowledge of S88 batch process control standards and the ability to implement basic design modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• ABB 800xA DCS Configuration & Maintenance – Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize ABB 800xA systems for process automation.
• Basic Design Adjustments – Implement minor modifications to existing control systems to enhance performance.
• GMP Compliance – Ensure all automation activities align with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
• S88 Batch Process Control – Apply ISA-88 standards to develop structured and scalable automation solutions.
• Batch Management & Recipe Handling – Develop, optimize, and manage batch control strategies.
• Collaboration & Documentation – Work closely with process engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure automation solutions meet project requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with ABB 800xA DCS.
• Solid understanding of batch management and recipe configuration.
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Knowledge of S88 standards and their application in batch process control.
• Ability to execute basic design modifications in automation systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
