HRIS Configuration Specialist – Role Overview

The HRIS Configuration Specialist will be a hands-on UKG Pro expert responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting the HRIS environment. This role is primarily system-focused and centered on working directly within UKG Pro rather than leading client-facing consulting engagements, though clear communication and collaboration remain important.

Key Requirements and Focus Areas

• Deep experience working within UKG Pro
• Strong background as a configuration specialist within UKG Pro
• Hands-on system configuration, setup, and ongoing support
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system configurations
• Support internal teams and assist with demo workflows as needed
• Limited direct client-facing responsibilities, but strong communication skills are still essential
• Comfortable collaborating with payroll, benefits, tax, and UKG consulting teams
