My client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join the team in Central Germany. As a Sales Engineer in the renewable energy sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our company by promoting and selling our renewable energy solutions to clients. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transition towards sustainable energy and make a positive impact on the environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and target potential clients within the Central Germany region to generate new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including key stakeholders such as project managers, engineers, and procurement professionals.
  3. Conduct thorough technical assessments and feasibility studies to understand customer requirements and propose suitable renewable energy solutions.
  4. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to showcase the benefits and features of our renewable energy products and services.
  5. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to develop customized solutions that meet customer needs, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  6. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to the management team.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities and potential challenges.
  8. Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand the company's visibility and establish relationships with key industry players.
  9. Act as a technical advisor to customers, addressing their queries, resolving any technical issues, and providing post-sales support when required.
  10. Continuously strive to achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A master's degree would be an advantage.
  2. Proven experience in sales or business development within the renewable energy sector, preferably in Central Germany.
  3. Strong technical background and understanding of renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, biomass, or hydropower.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers at all levels.
  5. Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  6. Self-motivated and result-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  7. Familiarity with Central Germany's renewable energy market, policies, and regulatory frameworks.
  8. Proficient in using CRM software, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  9. Willingness to travel within the region to meet clients and attend industry events.
