Avionics / Embedded Systems Engineer (Space Systems)

Your work could be operating on the lunar surface within the next 12-18 months.

We’re partnering with a cutting-edge aerospace team developing advanced payload systems for an upcoming lunar mission. This role sits at the intersection of electronics design, embedded software, and real-time system control, with direct impact on mission-critical hardware.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and developing mixed-signal electronics and avionics systems
• Writing embedded flight software for autonomous operations and fault management
• Integrating hardware with external systems (power, data, telemetry)
• Supporting test, integration, and ground support equipment
• Working across hardware/software boundaries in a fast-paced, build-test-learn environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience with PCB design and embedded C/C++ development
• Hands-on debugging using lab equipment (oscilloscope, JTAG, etc.)
• Experience with real-time systems and hardware-in-the-loop testing
• Familiarity with harsh environment design (thermal, EMI/EMC, radiation) is a plus
• Builders who thrive in high-ownership, mission-driven teams
