About the Role:

My client is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Project and Construction Manager to join their growing railway construction team in Zurich. You will play a key role in managing complex projects from planning and execution to successful completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints. This is a unique opportunity to work on large-scale projects across

Switzerland and Germany, contribute to shaping a new branch within the company, and collaborate with adiverse and dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage construction projects in railway construction (including PGV according to EBG) for national and private railway companies
• Oversee all aspects of projects, including planning, execution, and commissioning (SIA 31-53)
• Collaborate effectively with various project stakeholders, including specialist services, builders, offices, and authorities
• Embrace digitalization and BIM methodologies
• Share knowledge and mentor junior team members

Qualifications:

• Civil engineering degree (ETH/TU/FH or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in railway construction project management
• Strong understanding of Swiss railway standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in German (C2 level or native)
• Additional language skills in Italian or French preferred
• Independent, results-oriented, and adaptable with a strong sense of initiative
• Motivated, communicative, and solution-oriented with a collaborative spirit
