Darwin Space are currently hiring for a Senior Sales and Business Development Manager in Luxembourg.
Tasks
1. Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the satellite telecommunications sector.
2. Identify, engage, and develop relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners to expand the company’s presence in Luxembourg and international markets.
3. Lead complex negotiations and successfully close high-value commercial agreements while ensuring alignment with company objectives and delivering strong value to customers.
4. Work closely with marketing, product development, and technical teams to align sales initiatives with broader business strategies and product roadmaps.
5. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and product development.
6. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analyses to track progress against targets and identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certifications are considered a strong advantage.
2. Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in sales and business development, ideally within the satellite telecommunications industry or a related high-tech sector.
3. Strong understanding of satellite communications markets, customer segments, and industry trends, with the ability to translate market insights into commercial opportunities.
4. Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding ambitious sales targets, securing strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable business growth in competitive markets.
5. Experience developing go-to-market strategies, identifying new revenue streams, and contributing to long-term commercial growth.
6. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders
7. Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is required. Nice to have knowledge of Luxembourgish and/or German.
8. Entrepreneurial, results-driven and adaptable, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to perform effectively in dynamic and fast-evolving environments.
