Job Summary: An experienced Staff Digital Design Engineer is sought to lead the design and development of advanced digital circuits and systems for power management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in RTL design, FPGA or ASIC implementation, and power estimation techniques.


  • Lead the design and development of digital circuits and systems for power management applications, including control logic, digital signal processing, and communication interfaces.
  • Develop RTL code (Verilog/VHDL) for FPGA or ASIC implementations, ensuring compliance with design specifications, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Perform functional verification and validation of digital designs using simulation and emulation tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analog designers, applications engineers, and test engineers, to ensure successful product development and integration.
  • Conduct power estimation and optimization for digital designs, ensuring efficient power consumption and thermal management.
  • Participate in the full product development cycle, from concept to production release, including design reviews, documentation, and support for product validation and testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry standards in digital design, FPGA/ASIC development, and power management.
  • Mentor and guide junior digital design engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing within the team.


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital design, with a strong focus on RTL design and FPGA or ASIC implementation.
  • Proven expertise in Verilog or VHDL coding, synthesis, and verification methodologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital design tools and flows, including simulation, synthesis, and implementation tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Synopsys Design Compiler, Cadence Encounter).
  • Experience with power estimation and optimization techniques for digital designs.
  • Strong understanding of digital communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet) and digital signal processing algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with power management applications and familiarity with analog and mixed-signal design concepts.
  • Knowledge of advanced digital design techniques, such as clock domain crossing, asynchronous design, and low-power design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages for formal verification (e.g., SystemVerilog, PSL, SVA).
  • Experience with FPGA-based prototyping and emulation platforms.
  • Proven track record of successful product development and patent contributions.
