We are currently supporting a leading eCommerce business in their search for a Freelance Privacy and Compliance Business Partner. You collaborate with multiple departments to drive business development while ensuring the responsible use of data and a balanced approach to risk.

Responsibilities:

• Advise on privacy matters, focusing on advertising, marketing, and analytics
• Assess and mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and manage data breaches
• Support regulatory claims investigations and lead privacy projects
• Work cross-functionally to embed privacy into product development and conduct DPIAs
• Maintain records of processing activities and ensure policies & privacy notices stay updated
• Provide privacy-related contract guidance and monitor legal & regulatory changes

About You:

• Specialist with data protection experience
• Expertise in privacy compliance, risk assessment, mitigation.
• Fluency in Dutch & English
• Privacy certification (CIPP/E/M) preferred
• Additional experience within eCommerce beneficial

Location: Amsterdam (2-3 days on site per week)
Start: March 2025
Contract Length: 10 Months
