Technical Superintendent – Coastal Ships

Location: Moormerland, Germany

Salary: €80,000 – €90,000

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Superintendent to oversee a fleet of coastal vessels, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in coastal shipping, strong technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple vessels.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical performance of up to six coastal ships
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintenance standards
• Supervise dry-docking, repairs, and inspections
• Manage technical budgets and spare parts procurement
• Liaise with crew, shipowners, and regulatory authorities
• Implement preventative maintenance programs

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in coastal shipping
• European candidate with English fluency (Dutch/German preferred)
• Offshore experience is a plus
• Strong technical knowledge of vessel operations
