Position Available: Wind Turbine Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team as a Wind Turbine Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines. You will play a crucial part in wind turbine installation processes and service operations, ensuring compliance with established procedures and manuals. A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality is essential, as you will be working both independently and collaboratively to uphold these standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines.
- Adhere to established procedures for reporting and documentation of all activities.
- Collaborate effectively with team members during wind turbine installations and service operations.
- Execute tasks according to manuals and follow the guidance of the designated manager.
- Safeguard tools and company assets while performing duties.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in wind turbine technician roles.
- Demonstrated responsibility and ability to excel both as a team player and when working independently.
- Possession of valid GWO & OEM certificates.
- Positive attitude towards work and life, coupled with unwavering reliability.
- Capability to perform duties in challenging and adverse conditions.
- Strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
- Flexibility to travel extensively and work away from home.
- Comfortable ascending wind turbines up to 300 feet and working at heights.
- Commitment to maintaining unwavering focus on quality and safety.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Completion of OSHA 10 training.
- Certification in First Aid, AED, and CPR.
- Immediate availability for employment.
