Lead Operations Across Industrial Compressed Air Systems

A leading player in the industrial utilities sector is seeking an experienced Operations and Safety Manager to oversee field operations, safety, maintenance, and performance of multiple compressed air systems across North America. This role is perfect for an engineer or technical leader ready to take ownership of critical plant operations while driving safety, quality, and efficiency across a growing fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations for multiple compressed air systems (CAS) at customer sites

• Oversee centrifugal and rotary screw compressors, dryers, instrumentation, and PLC-based control systems

• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, spare parts systems, and asset management strategies

• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations

• Serve as the primary contact for customer operations teams and external vendors

• Standardize operating procedures across the fleet to maintain high uptime and reliability

• Travel frequently to oversee installations, inspections, and field support

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field)

• 5+ years of experience in compressed air systems, rotating equipment, or industrial utility plant operations

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation, electrical systems, and mechanical maintenance

• Familiarity with asset management tools, CMMS, and maintenance scheduling

• Ability to troubleshoot control systems and interpret schematics and P&IDs

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Must possess a valid U.S. passport and be able to travel regularly
