What You Can Expect

As a Project Developer, you will play a key role in developing distributed solar and solar + storage projects, supporting the company’s mission to grow its renewable energy footprint across the U.S. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to manage land acquisition, permitting, environmental reviews, pre-construction, and overall project development.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the origination and development of solar and storage projects across Texas.
  • Perform due diligence on project sites to identify and mitigate development risks.
  • Assist with securing land leases and ensuring all legal and environmental requirements are met.
  • Maintain and manage a pipeline database for projects in various stages of development.
  • Prepare and present project and market reviews to stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively to progress a portfolio of projects spanning multiple states.

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • At least two (2) years of experience managing multiple renewable energy projects and stakeholders.
  • General knowledge of renewable energy trends and market dynamics.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $85,000 – $130,000 annually (final offer based on experience, location, and qualifications).
