Sales Manager Maritime

An innovative maritime technology company, part of an established international group, is looking to hire a Sales Manager Maritime to support continued growth across the global shipping and offshore markets.

The company develops and supplies ultrasonic systems for biofouling prevention, with installations on 300+ vessels and offshore units worldwide. This role focuses on expanding the maritime customer base and managing the full sales cycle, from first contact through to contract signature.


Your Responsibilities

  • Selling technical equipment and related services into the maritime sector

  • Acquiring new customers and building long-term client relationships

  • Identifying market opportunities, analysing trends, and monitoring competitor activity

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to grow market share

  • Managing the full commercial process, including offers, quotations, and contracts

  • Providing comprehensive customer support throughout the sales cycle

  • Representing the company at international exhibitions, conferences, and industry events

  • Maintaining CRM data, coordinating meetings, and managing sales activities

  • Preparing sales reports and forecasts for senior management


Your Background

  • Commercial or technical education, vocational training, or equivalent qualification

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the maritime industry
    (e.g. marine equipment, services, shipbuilding, offshore)

  • Strong commercial mindset with proven negotiation and closing skills

  • Confident communicator with a professional and customer-oriented approach

  • High level of initiative and entrepreneurial thinking

  • Solid MS Office skills; experience with ERP and CRM systems is an advantage

  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

  • Willingness to travel internationally
