Freelance Zuora Consultant (Fully Remote – USA)

We are supporting a global, product-led technology company operating a large-scale subscription and monetization platform used by millions of customers worldwide. The organization runs a sophisticated Zuora environment that supports recurring, usage-based, and enterprise subscription models.

To support ongoing initiatives and optimization efforts, they are seeking an experienced Freelance Zuora Consultant to join their team on a fully remote contract.

This role sits at the intersection of business, finance, and technology, ideal for a consultant who can translate complex requirements into effective Zuora solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize Zuora Billing, Payments, and Revenue

• Gather and translate business and finance requirements into Zuora solutions

• Support subscription lifecycle management (product catalog, pricing, amendments, renewals, invoicing)

• Advise on best practices for billing, payments, and revenue recognition

• Support and enhance integrations between Zuora and surrounding systems (CRM, ERP, data platforms)

• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing Zuora platform support

• Work closely with finance, product, and engineering stakeholders in a remote-first environment

• Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and platform optimization

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Zuora Consultant in SaaS or subscription-based environments

• Strong functional knowledge of Zuora Billing, Payments, and Revenue

• Solid understanding of subscription, recurring, and usage-based pricing models

• Experience supporting or advising on Zuora integrations

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Comfortable working independently as a freelancer

• Must be based in the USA and eligible to work on a contract basis

• Location: Fully Remote (USA only)

• Duration: Initial 12 month contract with strong potential for extension

• Start: ASAP

• Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
