Role Overview:

As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in unlocking the potential of spatiotemporal data to solve complex problems and drive innovation. You will collaborate closely with a talented team of data scientists, engineers, and domain experts to develop models, algorithms, and statistical analyses that uncover hidden patterns, predict trends, and optimize operations. Your expertise in Go or Python programming, statistical analysis, and machine learning will directly contribute to the success of our spatiotemporal projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data-driven solutions for spatiotemporal challenges.
• Develop and implement machine learning models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to extract insights from large-scale spatiotemporal datasets.
• Preprocess, clean, and transform raw data to ensure data quality and suitability for analysis.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and hypothesis testing to uncover patterns and correlations.
• Build predictive models and perform forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization based on spatiotemporal data.
• Communicate findings, present results, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders and clients.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and spatiotemporal analysis techniques, and proactively apply them to enhance our methodologies.

Requirements:

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on spatiotemporal data analysis.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Go or Python.
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature selection, and dimensionality reduction methods.
• Proficiency in working with large-scale datasets, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with data manipulation libraries and frameworks such as pandas, NumPy, SciPy, or similar.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in spatiotemporal analysis, geospatial data processing, or GIS.(nice to have)
• Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
• Strong programming skills in both Go and Python.
