Field Test Engineer – UAS & C-UAS | DefenseTech | Europe (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Field Test Engineer to join their growing team.

Step into a central role in autonomous security, combining aerial robotics with ground-based defense systems. You’ll operate a full testing ecosystem-from high-performance FPV drones to state-of-the-art counter-UAS platforms. One day you’ll be flying agile drones as the “Red Team,” and the next, calibrating ground-based detection arrays. Working closely with engineering teams, you will capture critical test data and directly influence the development of safer, smarter dual-use technologies for the Space and Defense sectors.

Experience of Interest

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.

• FPV & Piloting Expertise: Hands-on experience building, tuning, and flying FPV drones, capable of executing precise test trajectories while following safety protocols.

• Systems & Electronics Capability: Skilled in setting up, testing, and troubleshooting ground electronics-sensor integration, power systems, and control-station configuration.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of UAV mechanics, radio control systems (e.g., ELRS, Crossfire), and the foundational principles of drone performance.

Compensation & Setup

Approx. €60,000 base salary + health insurance + performance bonus.
Hybrid working model: 3 days on-site / 2 days remote.
