For our customer from medicine and pharmaceutical sector we are currently looking for a Cloud Migration Engineer (f/m/d) Remote.

Start date: 01/07/2022
End date: 31/12/2022 with possibility of extension
Effort: full time
Location: Remote
Language: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential

Project task: a new infrastructure platform is being built (Infrastructure as a Code)

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Support the planning, design and architecture of solutions and tools utilized in migrating legacy services to Azure
• Execute migration tasks, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of domain migration tools
• Maintain cloud servers and related applications

Required Skill-Set:

• Experienced in Implementing Azure IaaS offerings such as Azure VM, Blob Storage, etc.
• Experienced in Implementing Azure IaaS / PaaS offerings such as Kubernetes, App Service Environments, Web Jobs, Web Apps, Functions, Azure SQL, Search, Cosmos Db, Azure Functions, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux OS
• Experienced in working in Agile/Dev Operations environment with CI/CD and application lifecycle management
• Intermediate knowledge about storage capabilities available in a cloud environment, the ability to optimize disk performance and the experience to protect or recover data
• Intermediate background with virtualization technology and hands on experience with the leading cloud providers
• Intermediate background with Microsoft server products and hands on experience supporting an Active Directory environment
• Basic knowledge about SQL and/or Oracle databases, routing, switching, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), firewalls, load balancing, subnetting and other entry level networking skills.
