Freelance IT Support Engineer - Berlin Based - 3 Month Contract

I am currently supporting an innovative start-up working with the latest technologies to transform the brokerage world as we know it. Within this position you will be supporting and responding to incidents, working on appropriate diagnosis, and providing technical expertise where required.

This platform is focused on developing and scaling modern infrastructure of the core of the business along with ensuring high IT security standards and smooth cooperation with cooperation partners and clients.

The Role:
· Responding to incident calls and tickets from users on desktop / end user systems related issues
· Appropriate diagnosis, tracking, documentation and resolution on incidents
· Queue management if logged incidents for the location related requests
· Provide responsive advice and direction to customers when contacted about services and support processes
· Provide technical expertise to analyse, troubleshoot and react to technical issues
· Proactive identification of support process improvements
· Software and image repair, recovery and rebuild
- 1st and 2nd line support for Macs
- Administering new users set up, password and security


Requirements:
· Ideally previous IT support experience
· Technical knowledge of Tech systems (Network and Virtualisation concepts)
- Strong experience working with Macs
· Experience with Network patching, Office 365, laptop and desktop builds and repairs, printer repairs and configuration, MS Intune experience with Android and iPhone devices

- English Speaking Position

-3 Months Onsite

-2 Week Start
