Network Engineer

For this position, my client is only considering Dutch speaking citizens who can come on-site.

Salary range between 70 -78.000 year for Permanent & up to 70€/h for Freelance.

My client is looking for someone who is up to the task, as this role is based in a very dynamic environment.

Within IT Platforms, the Connectivity Services team is responsible for all IT and OT Network related infrastructures. Taking associated security measures and providing adequate hardware and software for these infrastructures.

What will you be doing?

* Manage the IT network and take timely action to ensure availability for now and in the future.

* Management and development in this regard includes monitoring, analyzing and solving incidents, detecting and solving problems, maintaining the environment by applying changes.

* You think and collaborate in a SAFE/Agile team setting about chain manageability

* Provide your input to improve operational activities.

* You contribute to the implementation of operational projects.

* Participate in a standby duty with flexible working hours

* You take care of collecting and maintaining the technical knowledge of the focus area

What do we expect from you?

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• 5+ years of work experience with security and network management in a large-scale high- infrastructure
• Having a Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
• Experience with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
• Experience with Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS)
• Experience with IPsec protocols: Authentication Header (AH), Encapsulating Security Payload (ESP) and Internet Key Exchange (IKE)
• Experience with Cisco Switches (ios and nexus)
• Experience with Cisco ACI
• Experience with FortiGate FortiManager
• Experience with FortiAnalyzer
• Experience with Juniper MX Series ethernet routers
• Experience with AWS Networking is a big plus
• Experience with Phyton Network Automation is a big plus
