Python Developer influencing investments

As a Senior Front Office Developer, you will be responsible for enhancing the systematic core platform. Your work will be instrumental in building some of the most complex and crucial parts of a new core platform for systematic teams.

The systematic core platform supports the activities of the quantitative analysts and portfolio managers within the various portfolio management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the broader technology team to develop a unified, scalable platform for utilizing market data and analytics
• Work as a full-stack developer, creating front-to-back solutions that leverage the company's data platforms, microservices architecture, UI frameworks, and DevOps toolchain
• Partner with the firm's investment teams to convert their requirements into technology solutions: building tools, models, analytical libraries, and processes to facilitate their research, idea generation, trading, and portfolio analysis

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience developing Front Office and/or Risk tools and analytics
• Experience in a systematic trading environment or similar experience in the sell-side
• Fluency in Python, with the ability to write clean, modular, well-documented code in a collaborative development setting
• High-level understanding of asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives), analytical models, and financial markets
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to focus in a dynamic environment, and able to work under deadlines
