System Engineer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage and develop my client's existing Windows environment, including AD, server roles, rights, and M365. You'll also be responsible for engineering and operating our virtualization environment using vSphere, as well as general administration and troubleshooting of our Citrix VDI. In addition, you'll be responsible for the administration of MS SQL Server, network, firewalls, VPN, backup, and other IT service functions.

As a System Engineer, you'll be expected to maintain data centers HW, occasionally perform maintenance and troubleshooting and properly manage 2nd/3rd levels of support. You'll also be responsible for occasional office HW and cable management tasks, as well as communication with external parties (vendors and suppliers).

While it's not required, experience with cloud engineering (Azure, AWS) is a plus. They are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent education, several years of professional experience, excellent English, and a high level of security awareness. You should be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high-quality standards, conceptual understanding, and attention to detail.
