Service Manager – Commercial Boilers & HVAC

Richmond, VA & Northern VA

Our client is a family run leader in the mechanical contracting industry for the last 40 years and we are looking for a Service Manager to lead a team of 23 commercial service technicians across Richmond and Northern Virginia.

This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on commercial boiler systems (steam & hydronic), customer relationships, and team development.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting a large service team

• Overseeing daily service operations

• Customer-facing work including service sales and estimating

• Providing technical guidance on boilers, burners, and controls

• Maintaining a strong safety culture

• 50/50 split between office and field

Ideal background:

• Mechanical contractor experience

• Strong commercial boiler knowledge

• Proven leadership of service teams

• Comfortable with customers, sales, and project superintendents

• Team-oriented, outgoing leadership style

Compensation & Benefits:

• $120,000-$130,000+ salary

• Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
