Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Industry: Life Sciences – Medical Devices – Early Stage

Salary: Up to €70,000 + bonus

Location: Ireland

As they ramp up manufacturing and prepare for commercial launch, they’re looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the charge in optimizing processes, enhancing product quality, and supporting production at scale.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive manufacturing projects from development to optimization and validation
  • Support day-to-day production, keeping operations on track and efficient
  • Lead process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC methodologies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D and QA to scale manufacturing capabilities
  • Own equipment selection, installation, and performance management
  • Execute IQ, OQ, PQ validations to meet internal QMS and regulatory standards
  • Play a key role in commercial readiness and cost-reduction initiatives

What You Bring:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in medical devices or regulated manufacturing
  • Deep understanding of process validation, quality systems, and operational excellence
  • A hands-on, proactive mindset and the ability to influence at all levels
  • A team-oriented, agile approach suited to high-growth environments
