Background
I’m partnering with a leading specialist delivering full BMS/BAS (Building Management Systems) installation, maintenance, and commissioning services to Data Centers across the Nordics. As their project portfolio expands across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, they are now seeking an experienced Project Director to provide senior-level leadership and act as the final point of escalation before matters reach board level.
The Role
As Project Director, you will oversee multiple Data Center projects across the region, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will regularly collaborate with high-level stakeholders, as well as internal engineering teams, so exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the delivery of BMS-focused data center projects across the Nordics
- Serve as the senior escalation point for all project-related issues
- Engage with end customers senior team, navigating high-pressure and high-stakes discussions
- Work closely with BMS engineering teams to ensure smooth technical and operational alignment
- Provide strategic direction, risk management, and project governance across a growing regional portfolio
About You
- Strong background in project management within a technical or engineering-focused environment (ideally steering M&E projects – BMS, HVAC, AHU’s, Chillers, etc)
- Some knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems) – you won’t be doing technical work yourself, but enough understanding to engage credibly with engineers
- Confident communicator capable of partnering with demanding, high-level stakeholders
- Proven ability to oversee complex, multi-location projects
- Comfortable with travel and being onsite in Sweden when required
