Summary
As a Cable Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for tackling a variety of complex cable installation-related challenges. You will support our tender and project teams with engineering expertise during both the preparation and execution phases.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct calculations and simulations for cable installation analyses to develop methodologies and define limiting criteria.
- Serve as the key liaison between engineers, tender teams, project teams, and operational teams to define installation methods and optimize offshore operations.
- Take opportunities to travel offshore for site visits and inspections.
- Develop and refine internal tools and guidelines.
- Oversee the organization of engineering tasks and monitor project progress with precision.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Experience in naval architecture, including vessel hydrodynamics, mooring, vessel stability, and dynamic positioning (DP) will be an asset.
- Strong analytical skills with a critical approach to problem-solving.
- Flexible, proactive, results-driven, and adaptable.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
