Position: Bridge Engineer
Work Model: Hybrid (Office + Remote Flexibility)
Overview
We’re seeking a skilled Bridge Engineer to join a collaborative and forward-thinking infrastructure team focused on designing durable, efficient, and innovative transportation structures. This position is ideal for an experienced structural engineer who’s ready to take ownership of bridge design projects and contribute technical expertise to high-impact work across highway and rail systems.
What You’ll Be Doing

Take the lead on structural engineering tasks for bridge-related projects, providing technical direction and design oversight

Perform structural analysis and design for both new construction and rehabilitation of transportation infrastructure

Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
-
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, highway, and hydraulics engineers to ensure integrated project delivery

Support project execution within defined schedules and budgets
-
Engage with professional organizations and attend industry meetings or events as needed for continued growth and representation
What We’re Looking For
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)

Strong background in bridge engineering, including hands-on design and plan development
-
Experience working on infrastructure projects for New York agencies such as NYCDOT, NYSDOT, MTA, and PANYNJ
-
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York State
-
Proficiency with structural analysis tools like SAP2000, CSiBridge, Midas, or equivalent platforms
-
Solid understanding of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and how to apply them in real-world scenarios
