About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Application Support Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of critical applications. Based in Stockholm, you will be the bridge between business operations and technical teams, ensuring high availability and swift resolution of production incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Management: Maintain and manage the production environment, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Incident & Problem Management: Lead efforts to restore normal service operations quickly. Facilitate Major Incident calls and coordinate resources to minimize business impact.
- Change & Deployment: Oversee change management processes and application deployments to ensure smooth transitions.
- Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary technical liaison between internal/external stakeholders, including Application Owners, Infrastructure Teams, and Developers.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare detailed SLA/KPI reports and review major incidents with Executive Management. Ensure adherence to SOX compliance activities.
- Operations: Manage batch jobs, support 24×7 operations (including shift/on-call flexibility), and coordinate activities between Onsite and Offshore teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Leverage dashboarding and automation to simplify processes and reduce manual effort.
Technical Requirements
- Core Stack: Strong experience with Java, UI, and Mobile applications.
- Support Methodologies: Proven expertise in L2/L3 support, Incident Management, and Problem Management.
- Tools & Processes: Proficiency with ITIL frameworks and ITSM tools (ServiceNow or equivalent).
- Infrastructure: Knowledge of MySQL, Cloud platforms, Monitoring, Tracing, and Alerting tools.
