Operations Officer
What does the role involve?
As an Operations Officer, you’ll play a key role within a small, dynamic, and specialized team. Together with your future colleagues, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the deployment of ships and personnel. Your mission: ensuring the right people and resources are at the right place at the right time. You’ll manage planning through a modern system, monitor operational activities, and support project coordination. Acting as the first point of contact for crew members on our fleet, you’ll help ensure vessels are properly supplied with fuel, provisions, and consumables. You’ll work closely with project managers and maintain daily contact with fleet teams and clients.

We are a Dutch family-owned company with over a century of maritime experience. While we began on local inland waterways, we now operate internationally. Our fleet includes tugs, pushers, and pontoons, allowing us to provide a wide range of services-harbour assistance, sea towing, heavy cargo transport, crane testing, salvage, and icebreaking, to name a few. Thanks to our flat organizational structure and dedicated team, we’re agile and responsive in a rapidly evolving market.
Is this you?
* MBO+ level education in logistics, STC, or equivalent
* Experience as a planner, water clerk, or agent in the maritime industry is a plus
* Strong affinity with the shipping sector
* Proficient in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
