Compensation: $30.00 – $40.00/hour (depending on experience and certifications)
A leading provider in the industrial services sector is looking for an experienced Compressed Air Service Technician to join their Colorado-based field service team. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional who thrives in a field-based role, working directly with customers to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
Position Overview
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of compressed air systems at commercial and industrial client sites. You’ll troubleshoot problems, perform preventive maintenance, and help reduce downtime for important systems.
Responsibilities

Service and repair rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in the field

Install compressed air equipment and perform start-ups

Communicate effectively with clients and provide on-site training when needed

Complete service reports, parts usage logs, and follow-up recommendations

Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicle
Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on air compressor systems or similar industrial equipment

Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills

Excellent communication and time-management abilities

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Must be comfortable working independently and traveling locally to client sites
Preferred Qualifications

Manufacturer training (e.g., Ingersoll Rand, Kaeser, Quincy, Atlas Copco)

Familiarity with PLCs or digital compressor control systems

Experience working in manufacturing, facilities maintenance, or industrial service environments
