Project Manager – Civil & Hydraulic Engineering (Netherlands & Germany)

Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where leadership, organization, and collaboration are key? If so, this opportunity is for you!

Your Role

As a Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the preparation, execution, and completion of major infrastructure projects in the Netherlands and Germany. You will lead work planners and execution teams, ensuring smooth project progress while keeping a close eye on financials, safety, and quality.

Your expertise will also be invaluable in the tender phase, where your technical insights will help shape winning proposals. You’ll maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, acting as the key point of contact. Regular site visits will keep you actively involved in the project’s success.

Since this role requires frequent travel to Germany, fluency in German, English, and Dutch is essential for effective communication.

Our Projects

The focus is on structural hydraulic engineering, covering tendering, design, engineering, and procurement. Projects are executed across major waterways and port areas in the Netherlands-Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Vlissingen, and beyond-as well as in Germany, from the Ruhr area to the North and Baltic Seas.

What’s on Offer?

  • A challenging and independent role in a growing, dynamic organization
  • A supportive and close-knit team with an open, solution-oriented culture
  • Excellent salary and benefits following the Construction & Infrastructure CLA, including:
  • 40 vacation days
  • Attractive travel compensation (travel hours count as working hours)
  • €500 annual well-being budget – for you to use as you wish
  • Extensive training & certification opportunities (BHV, VCA, forklift, etc.)
  • High-quality tools, transport, and clothing for optimal performance
  • Fun team events and seasonal celebrations
  • An exciting milestone year with a fantastic company-wide celebration!

What You Bring

  • A natural leader with strong organizational skills and the ability to inspire a team
  • A degree in civil engineering (HBO or university level)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally as a (senior) executor
  • Proven management experience in civil engineering
  • Completed safety certifications (e.g., VCA-VOL)
  • A proactive mindset towards safety, quality, and sustainability

This is your chance to be part of a dynamic, future-focused team where innovation and teamwork drive success. Ready to take on this challenge?
