ITSM Migration & Ticketing System Consultant (Siit → Assist)
3-Month Contract | 2-3 Days per Week | German Preferred | 5-10 Years Experience
Darwin Recruitment is partnered with a leading organisation undergoing a transformation of their ITSM landscape. They are replacing their legacy ticketing & CMDB system (Assist) and implementing a new platform (Siit). We are looking for an experienced consultant to lead the setup, configuration, and migration activities.
Job Title: ITSM Migration Consultant
Responsibilities
- Full setup and configuration of the new Siit ticketing system
- Design ITIL-aligned workflows: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request
- Define roles, permissions, automation rules, and escalation paths
- Configure forms, fields, templates, notifications, SLAs
- Build and optimise the CMDB structure, relationships, and data models
- Plan and execute the migration from Assist → Siit (tickets, assets, CI data, users)
- Optional: contribute to an upcoming JIRA migration project
Requirements
- 5-10 years experience in ITSM implementations or migrations
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes & ticketing system setup
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (Siit, Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Freshservice, etc.)
- CMDB design, CI relationships, data modelling
- Experience with API integrations, REST, ETL tools, automation
- Strong background in migration planning, validation, cutover
- English langauge mandatory (German nice to have also)
Project Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 3 months (extension possible)
- Workload: 2-3 days per week
- Location: Berlin
- Languages: English required, German beneficial
- Contract & Rate: Competitive daily rate (based on profile & experience)
