Role Overview

The Technical Superintendent will oversee the technical management of assigned vessels, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards. The role requires close collaboration with the fleet management team and frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the technical performance, maintenance, and repair activities of assigned vessels.

• Ensure full compliance with international maritime regulations and internal safety standards.

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee dry-dockings, repairs, and routine inspections.

• Monitor operational budgets, ensuring effective cost control and reporting.

• Provide technical guidance and support to onboard crews to maintain performance and safety.

• Conduct regular vessel visits and technical audits to ensure standards are met.

• Maintain communication with classification societies, flag authorities, and relevant regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of international maritime laws and safety protocols.

• Proven ability to manage technical budgets and oversee engineering projects.

• Willingness to travel for vessel inspections and operational oversight.
