We are currently recruiting for an experienced HVAC Commissioning Engineer to support a major data centre project in Germany. This is a long-term contract opportunity working on a high-profile, mission-critical facility.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for the commissioning of mechanical HVAC systems, ensuring all installations meet design specifications and operational performance requirements within a live project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, CRAH/CRAC units, and ventilation systems
- Execution of pre-commissioning and functional testing activities
- Participation in Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
- Review of mechanical designs, schematics, and commissioning procedures
- Liaising with subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives
- Troubleshooting and resolving commissioning issues on-site
- Completion of commissioning documentation and reporting
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Commissioning Engineer on large-scale projects
- Data centre or mission-critical experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of chilled water systems and HVAC controls/BMS
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Fluent English required (German beneficial but not essential)
- EU working rights or eligibility to work in Germany
